Privacy Policy
This summary explains the core account, billing, support, and loader-related data used by Meowchu.
Controller and contact. This website and service are operated by Meowchu Software. For privacy-related requests or questions, contact meowchuContact@riseup.net or use the customer support system.
Data we collect. We store the account data required to authenticate you, deliver subscriptions, process billing, and handle support requests. This includes your email, username, hashed password, session history, IP activity, and support records.
Loader and device telemetry. To authenticate access, protect the service against abuse, enforce device-based licensing, and investigate tampering or security events, the loader may collect and transmit device, system, and security telemetry.
- Account and login data used by the loader, including username and password during authentication.
- Hardware information and device identifiers used for device verification, licensing enforcement, and fraud prevention.
- System information such as operating environment, hardware configuration, and related identifiers needed for compatibility and security checks.
- Connection and session metadata, including IP address, client version, and technical request metadata used to validate service access.
- Security telemetry used to detect tampering, unauthorized analysis, virtualization, abuse, suspicious activity, or integrity issues affecting the loader or service.
Optional local credential storage. If you choose a remember-me style login flow in the loader, the loader may store your username and password locally on your machine using Windows DPAPI-based encryption tied to local machine identifiers.
How loader data is used. Loader telemetry is used to validate device identity, detect unauthorized redistribution, enforce HWID restrictions, monitor service integrity, investigate suspicious activity, resolve security events, and support account recovery or hardware reset reviews. Related records may be stored on our systems for audit, security, and account protection purposes.
Additional local-only diagnostics. Some device and environment checks may be performed locally by the loader for verification, compatibility, and security purposes, and not every locally read value is necessarily transmitted to our servers.
How we use your data. Your data is used for authentication, subscription management, billing, security monitoring, and customer support. We may retain operational security data such as IP logs and session records to protect the service and investigate abuse.
Payment providers. Payment providers such as Paddle and BTCPay process checkout data under their own privacy policies. We only retain the billing records needed for order history and service access.
Cookies. We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
What we do not collect. Based on the current loader implementation, we do not collect browser history, clipboard contents, user files from Documents, Desktop, or Downloads, browser cookies, precise geolocation, microphone recordings, or camera footage through the loader.
Data retention. Account and operational data are kept as long as needed for service operation, security monitoring, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion through support.
Data sharing. We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with payment processors for transaction handling and as required by law.
Your rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
